Mostly secondhand - or "previously cherished" as some shops prefer to call it - our range of stock is far greater than you might be forgiven for thinking, if you've just seen our shop from the outside.

Customers finding us for the first time often compare the shop to Doctor Who's TARDIS - it seems so much bigger on the inside than it does from outside, mostly because it goes back a lot further than most people expect.

As a result, we manage to pack a fantastic choice of books, films and music into our shelves, and we also don't waste a single square inch - forget Doctor Who, this is more like Aladdin's cave!

At the last count, we had 25,000 books, 23,000 DVDs and 3,000 CDs on our shelves, and that doesn't include all the "spare" stock we have in our store rooms.

We guarantee everything we sell, and our staff, who are mostly family members, are always happy to help you, chat about films, books, music (and just about anything else you can think of!) and help you make the most out of every visit you make to us.

We can also help you find those "hard-to-get" titles in all forms of media, clean up your own dirty and/or damaged discs, and turn your DVD player into a multi-regional beastie, so that you can watch and/or listen to films and music from anywhere in the world.
